meh i been locked out of that part of the site for over a week now, so far as i know it was in sept, how ever i did call csc and was told something is wrong i dont know what u should have seen a touch in dec because of the expedite request and she could not tell me if we had been approved for expedite or not, so we are just waiting like always lol

We got the answer from the service request (it's dated 05 January- they replied very quickly ) saying that our case is "actively" processed but that they have to perform additional reviews which take time and if we don't hear from them in 3 months to give them a call. 3 months??!!! I won't wait so much longer until bugging them again. Do they mean by "reviews" security checks or not? Are we stuck in security checks ? Who knows?

I told my fiance to write to the senator, but he says it's too soon, we just got this letter saying they work on it and what else to expect from the senator: the same answer as nobody will specifically say we are stuck in security checks or not....I told him at least to call USCIS and ask.

I have heard no word from my senator or congressman so starting monday making more calls and sending out more emails. At this point my heart is breaking and I know my fiancee's is too I know our love for each other will last forever but we had planned to get married in March now Im not so sure my noa2 will even come then. Getting a little dishearted about the fact I havent heard from anyone. Depression is setting in I even hate to look at the website or even go on uscis website hate getting my mail cause I know there is nothing in there. I hope this ends soon. My whole life depends on one little piece of paper.

Yeh, sounds like security checks doesn't it? It's so unfair. I think we have been in these checks too! why else would this take so long?

after more than half a year of trying to get my congressman's help and him refusing out of the blue i got a letter dated the 7th of this month that he just now realizes we are out of normal processing time and has sent in request to csc to find out what is going on with our case talk about me falling off the chair in shock!!!!!!!

Liz&Audel: USCIS is feeding you BS. They have that information on your case!! Did you ask them specifically if they can tell you whether you are stuck in background/Security checks?? We did so and they looked up our file in their internal system and could tell us where it was and that we were not in security checks!!

If you got hung up then the congressmen and lawyers cant help unfortunately. I am praying you will get good news soon, guys!!
