Guys!!!!!

We just got an email from our congressman telling us we got approved today, January 8!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot tell you how happy we are. Sitting here crying and drinking champagne. There is still no end on the road but we probably made the hardest part!!!

I love you guys and thanks to everyone who prayed and supported us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell me who your congressman is so that we can tell ours that they CAN get involved? Ours just tells us that they cant ge involved!

2/24/09: NA02 APPROVAL... finally, after 9 MONTHS & 8 DAYS!!

5/5/09 : Interview Date APPROVED!!!!

5/8/09: visa received

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

AOS

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Here we go again...

09/14/11: Mailed I-751 to Vermont

09/19/11: NA01

10/14/11: Biometrics

7/2/12: Approved. New Card Ordered

7/7/12: Green Card received

Representative Dan Boren, Oklahoma's district 2. We don't know if he made the difference and we also had two senators check with USCIS!!!!!!!! We noticed the touch 3 hours earlier and haven't even got an email from USCIS.

People, get involved. it might not always do something but I am convinced USCIS notices when a lot of people get involved!!!

11-20-2009 infopass appointment-they will generate a service request to expedite my EAD

12-09-2009 phoned USCIS, infopass lady did nothing!!

I got 2 Service Request Numbers for AP & EAD

12-09-2009 CRIS e-mail reply: EAD: "additional reviews are performed" - deadline 6 months

12-14-2009 CRIS e-mail reply :AP: "reviews" - deadline 60 days

12-14-2009 contacted the senator about the EAD

12-15-2009 touch: GC & AP. should I expect some approvals ?:) or am I too optimistic ?:(

12-16-2009 another touch

12-21-2009 EAD & AP approved OMG!! Is it really true? :)

12-26-2009 AP arrived by mail

12-28-2009 second e-mail about the approval of EAD

12-30-2009 GC APPROVED!!!!!!

Yeah, it's funny. Just this morning Dan and I discussed our plans for how to go on when we won't make it on time. We didn't believe in it anymore! And here it is. Wonderful! I don't think I have ever been happier!!
