If you want to find out what's going on I would definitely recommend going to an infopass!!!

I mean I cannot assure you that they will give you information but they for sure at least CAN (not like the call center people). They can see whether your case is stuck somewhere or not.

You can make an appointment online really easy for like a few days in advance.

Thanx guys...feeln lots better my official day to fly out now is DEC 28TH all re booked and ticketed! So ..... The countdown begins....still no word on my RFE....THAT WAS in Octb 10th... So at the minimal time they should of recieved it its gota be over a mONTH Now.....I will try call the CSC number tmmrw to see what the deal is .....does anyone know the number to call outside the US? Whats this iNFO pass everyone is talkn about Im missing out! lol!

We just got touched! Does anyone know if it's true that they update the status at the end of the day - could this mean we just got approved but they haven't updated it yet???

Yeah could be. I read that they don't update their system continuously but only once a day or so.

Just remember they dont always update the site, I have packet 3, NOA2 on the 3rd of November, I just went on USCIS to check again 2 mins ago and it still shows our case being received on the 30th June and still pending.

I would have more faith in receiving the hard copy in the post, however I hope that they are now updating it properly for all your sakes saves another few days of worrying

Do you do the info pass appt on the phone? The lady at CSC said you had to go to the embassy?

You can schedule your InfoPass appointment online, its very simple and easy to do, you can do it at the USCIS website, here: http://infopass.uscis.gov/, another way to find this same page is: go to the main USCIS website: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis and click on Schedule an appointment link, which is on the right hand side column.

So you get an appointment where your case is at? I mean my fiance is living in Michigan. Will he have to travel to California to meet an officer? Or is it all online/by email?

It is Dec. 4 and still no NOA2. Im kind of thinking they lost it or it is stuck under a pile somewhere. I'm beginning to hate getting my mail cause I know it is another disappointment. If I dont hear anything before the holidays ill be calling. Even though my fiancee will be spending the holidays with me for two weeks. Still wondering what is going on with my case.
