We phoned our lawyer yesterday to ask him to get in touch with USCIS or put an enquiry in. I checked the CIS website today and we've had a touch! The first one since October 2nd.

Being the pescimist that I am, I daren't get my hopes up but fingers crossed! We're on 6.5 months now so it's not good! If we don't hear anything in the next few days then the Senator will be the next step.

I Hope all of you get some news soon. Zoe & Hal, Wendy & Greger, Panterchen & of course crazy Emma from Oz who should be enjoying her time with her man in the US as we speak!! Looks like she got through immigration as she's not posted on here for a few days.

...Not to forget Sara who should defo hear something soon. :star:

Does anyone really know anything?

I'm sure some files are looked at but nothing is updated on screen. It's all so frustrating.

Our lawyer is a nightmare to get a reply from so no they haven't gotten back to us yet. They always make it seems like they've got other cases that need to take priority. WHY when our approval is so late??!! We should be a priority! sorry...just venting.

Shouldn't take too long. We got ours on a Wednesday and we had the letter the following Tuesday, although it seemed an age at the time... It only took a couple of days to put together though and is now back on it's way to CSC... Hopefully they'll get started on it soon! Good luck!

Congrats to all of you that at least got a touch. Means they are at least still considering your petition ;-)

We haven't had any news yet. I think we might try out this letter and adjust it for K1 once 6 months are over. Until then...we are waiting... :dead:

Thank you all for your support ad encouragement. I think its getting harder because of the holidays???

I called my congressman's office about a month ago, after she contacted them I got 3 touches so I thought something actually happened, but no. My Lawyer just sent an Official request that I had to sign and they replied they will get back to them in 30 days. CSC told my congressman basically, It's in security and don't bother us again!

I am going to try the Senator Letter that Mrs. Walker suggested.
