Since I am coming up on 6 months here shortly, what are some of the steps to take when you have waited 6+ months?

u can call and ask for a service request, also contact ur senator and congressman........

Hello friends,

Well, guess I am here to stay for a while... :clock:

We have called (getting the same ole answers), I have not contacted any senator or anything though, didn't know you could do that before I came to VJ.

08/13/09-My honey got his packet!!!

10/05/09-Appointment-Approved but on AP :(

10/20/09-Out of AP!!!

11/21/09-Wedding

12/08/09-Mailed packet

12/10/09-Delivered

12/14/09-Check cashed

12/14/09-NOA1

UPDATE UPDATE.........

I guess giving NVC a hard time paid off.......well maybe not, the ride isn't over yet, but at least the AP in NVC is. I was told today that it had been released on Friday, 6/1909 from NVC. I went to tracking on the 19th, but there was no pickup for Rio. I did check for pick up on Monday, and by-golly, there was one there........hmmmm could that be mine? Funny thing is, I did call on Friday and was told to call in a week and they would be able to check on a cep change (like zip code here in the states)...... guess maybe my luck is changing, or at least I hope so.

Hang in there guys.... I know it's tough. I'm still here rooting for your 2-NOA's........ Hope they all come soon.

I'm curious if anyone has tried using the Ombudsman Liaison Unit for these issues and, if so, whether they were of any help. They have a Form DHS-7001 that can be used when "your case experienced processing delays beyond anticipated processing times."

I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

03/19/09 - I-129F Sent

03/20/09 - NOA1 (rec'd harcopy 3/26/09)

03/24/09 - Check cleared

03/25/09 - Touched

8/12/09 - Touched (4 hours before NOA2 email)

8/12/09 - NOA2 email received

***Received email at noon (Weds)

***USCIS site did update with the status

***Was 113 on Berkeley list; 156 on VJ list

yes i did and they sent the same old reply to the ombudsman that they give us and our attorney or anyone else that contacts them on our behalf so the ombudsmen thought they had done their job

we decided to wait until the two year bench mark on our case its really close now then we will just have us move to india seems the only other thing that is an option for us

I don't know, but I do have a voicemail message on my work phone from the Senator's office. I'm eagerly awaiting this conference call to end so I can listen to the message. I probably should be less eager since that just increases the disappointment.
