Honestly, I think the best thing to do is hold a protest. The protest has got to involve the Media. And the protest should appear at All service centers regardless of filing status. Somehow we need to contact the other people that are waiting, those for other different visas as well. Did you know that it takes at least 10 yrs as an American citizen to bring an immediate family member ( brother, sister, mother or father)? This is just rediculous.

I will sign any protest petition....... bring it on!!!

But if we want change, we need to make uninformed people, (those who have no interest in immigration delays) informed!

Hello to all the 6+ month waiting club members,

MOst of you dont know who i am but i once was a member of this club. The only person i that is still here from when i was here and its :( to say is ((((((Sara)))))) . i am soo :angry: to see you are still here. but i read that there is some forward movement :thumbs: . Alhumduallah. Inshallah one day soon you will get all that you want and more.

As for me my fiance got her VISA TODAY :dancing: so i am very happy. Thank you for all your prayers and i will continue to keep you in mine.

Sara i wont be visiting this post for some time, but i promise to stop by and check up on you. Take care

Comments : My application was touched atleast 12 times before getting to NVC

01/04/09: Went to senators office to speak to them about an inquiry into my case.

01/06.09: Senators office send letter of inquiry to UNCIS CSC.

02/18/09: Called USCIS asked for service request

02/21/09: Recieved letter from USCIS that im in security checks :( and to call beck in 6 nonths..... WOW

02/25/09: APPPRROOVVVVAAALLLL NOA2 Alhumduallah

03/05/09: NVC receives papers

03/06/09: NVC send papers to counsulate

03/12/09: Counsulate have papers

03/27/09: Packet 3

04/02/09: Doctors (everything is a-okay0

04/28/09: Interview

04/28/09: AP ( need nothing further will call when able to proceed

05/04/09: Counsulate call and tell her to come 05/06/09 to counsulate for appointment? Told to bring passport......Is this the day???

05/06/09: Second interview (everything went well) Counsulate keep passport

05/07/09: Call from counsulate to pick up visa tomorrow

05/08/09: VIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAA IN HAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!

ALLLLLLLLHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMDDDDDDDDDDDDDUUUAAALLLAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!

03/25/2008 - He was denied re-entry to the U.S. for using the tourist visa too many times.

03/28/2008 - My first visit to Sweden

05/26/2008 - Touched

05/28/2008 - Met in Canada

06/20/2008 - 2nd trip to Sweden

10/23/2008 - Contacted Congressman

10/28/2008 - Touched

10/29/2008 - Touched

11/25/2008 - 3rd trip to Sweden

01/31/2009 - Lawyer sent Service Request

2/24/09: NA02 APPROVAL... finally, after 9 MONTHS & 8 DAYS!!

5/5/09 : Interview Date APPROVED!!!!

5/8/09: visa received

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

AOS

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Here we go again...

09/14/11: Mailed I-751 to Vermont

09/19/11: NA01

10/14/11: Biometrics

7/2/12: Approved. New Card Ordered

7/7/12: Green Card received

So, who's counting? How many active members of this club? I do have a feeling that, compared to let's say December when we were A LOT, now the club is almost empty. Am I wrong ?? Because, if I am right, then CSC and VSC are moving a lot faster. :thumbs:

hi, do you guys know how long it takes for you congressman to usually get back to you with the status of your case after you have contacted them?

It can be hours or days or a couple of weeks...really depends on how quick they respond to you.

I had one congressman's office reply within an hour of talking on the phone to them.

My senator took a couple of weeks, but was responsive and helped out.

im pretty tired tonight i just got a lot of stuff to send off to perviz he wants everything and i do mean everything lol i didnt even realize i had so many papers and things from this mess lol until i printed and copied everything today

he said he wants to be prepared when he goes for the visit visa interview so he can show that its not possible for me to come right now and what we been going thru and why he wants to visit for a few weeks.........

i send it off tomorrow i have no idea how much it weighs lol
