Hey Mara and Dany:

Ewok closed our August 2008 thread! :crying: where are we gonna meet now?, here?.

Oh Sara is it only me and you left?

I'm still here, keeping you both company. :(

Im lurking around here too :P

But then they totally lost our file and Chris and I are re-filing this week so we will be March filers I suppose..... we have been informed by a USCIS employee that we should expedite our case though so that is a positive.

On the positive I am going to attempt POE into the US for a rather extended (3 month) holiday on the 31st of March. Wish me luck all :)

cant u start another one?

sara

F OKAY i GOT IT THANKS DEAR!

Ah before I foget, joke:

lassification: UNCLASSIFIED

Caveats: NONE

Jane and Arlene are outside their nursing home, having a drink and a

smoke, when it starts to rain. Jane pulls out a condom, cuts off the

end, puts it over her cigarette, and continues smoking.

Arlene : What in the hell is that?

Jane: A condom. This way my cigarette doesn't get wet.

Arlene : Where did you get it?

Jane: You can get them at any drugstore.

The next day, Arlene hobbles herself into the local drugstore and

announces to the pharmacist that she wants a box of condoms.

The pharmacist, obviously embarrassed, looks at her kind of strangely

(she is, after all, over 80 years of age), but he very delicately asks

what brand of condom she prefers.

'Doesn't matter Sonny, as long as it fits on a Camel.'

The pharmacist fainted.

Hi all :D I guess I should have joined this thread a while ago. I've been waiting for my NOA2 for almost 8 months now. My case status still says " Received and Pending." And no one at USCIS can seem to tell me anything new about my case. I have not received any "touches" since Aug. 6, 2008. I recently contacted my senators office and I'm still waiting for the case worker to contact me about what she finds out. Oh well...just wanted to say hello to everyone else here. :D

No One knows ANYTHING! The best thing you can do is contact every Senator, Congressman, Lawyer, Infopass appointments, WHATEVER just to be a noisy pain to these people so they give up the NOA2. Even though I haven´t been in your club a very long time I am happy to announce: we are approved!!!!

I got a phonecall at 2 in the morning and my fiance told me he found it in his mailbox.

There weren´t any updates on the uscis website and there wasn´t any email. Very typical for USCIS.

The funny thing is that we could have already known when we had our engagement party in Germany on March 7th. Oh well, I am just so happy.

I´ve been reading this thread since Decemeber and I will keep reading it. I hope that at some point even Sara will make it out of here and it will stop existing. Nobody deserves to wait for that long, be apart from their loved ones and be so uncertain about their future.

NOA1 August 22nd

touched after congressman inquriry January 27th

touched again February 27th

NOA2 hardcopy March 7th

Interview April 23rd
