Thanks guys! The surgery went very well and apparently my gallbladder was FULL to the brim with stones. You know I never realized how much that affected my daily life but since I had the surgery I have had no nausea whereas before it was every day and worse in the morning so I kept thinking I was pregnant but the pee on a stick test always said otherwise (except once and that was a tubal that worked it's way out alhumdulilah)

Anyways My mom, dad and husband brought me there. My mom and dad left as soon as the surgeon said it went fine and my hubby stayed with me until 6:30pm so he could catch a cab home. Half the time I didn't know he was there and then I'd realize he was rubbing my head and holding my hands and then I'd drift off to sleep.

The first night sucked. They were supposed to give me a big shot of morphine but instead kept giving me the 5mg percocet which only would last for an hour or two so I'd have to fight with them all night to give me another one. Ok not really fight but seriously I was like ####### why should I be in pain when it's so important to sleep? The woman next to me was the nicest lady but unfortunately she found out she has cancer while I was there. Not a good moment. :(

I wanted to actually see the stones but I guess the chucked them. One thing that's on my mind though is that the doc saw that I have a "fatty liver". He couldn't tell me much more than that so now I have to make an appt with my pcp to talk about what causes that, how bad it is and what to do. Hopefully they won't have to do a biopsy 'cause I'm not in the mood for another surgical procedure! Supposedly the liver can get fatty from drinking and while I haven't had a drop of alcohol since saying my shahada three years ago I did used to drink about 2 to 3 glasses of red wine before bed. Another cause is cholesteral and wouldn't you know that hypothyroidism can trigger high cholesteral. My number has always been in the 230 range but my triglicerides are over 650!

Ok I can't really type too good right now but thank you all so much for your concern! When my mom and Usama came to get me it was perfect timing because the doc showed up at the same time and released me. That NEVER happens!!! Anyhoo my mom dropped us off at home and didn't come in but the minute I stepped in the door I was so full of love and happiness!!!! He cleaned the livingroom/dining room/our room and the kitchen and tons of candles were lit since he knows that smells affect me so much. He then made chicken soup from scratch with my telling him each step and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Gonne go catch up on the news but wanted to say thank you and I love all of you!
