Hi all,

Really silly question. I've been reading a lot about the proper way to fill in the I-129 and G-325A. I know that, for most questions, if it's a no, then I put in "none" and if there is no such info (such as the province/state box for address in Taiwan), I put down "N/A". But what about the middle name box? My finacee does not have a middle name. Do I simply leave it blank? Or put "None", or "N/A"?

Thanks for any help for this simple question!!

In my wife's case I wrote "NONE" all caps, this is so that for some stupid reson that assume her middle name is "None". Worked out fine, leaves no question that she had a middle name but forgot to put on the form.

Rule, N/A = Not applicable, means the question truly does not apply, as in further questions for a child when name is "NONE"

NONE means it can apply however the question is NONE, a person could have a middle name however this person does not.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

I put "NMN" (No Middle Name) on my forms.

My preference is ----

It acknowledges the question and cannot be misinterpreted as a name. "None" is a name in some languages.

We left her middle name box entirely blank, yet she has signed and writtern her name on several of the other forms. Shouldn't be a reason for RFE, should it?

No - it should not be a reason for an RFE - you've submitted forms of identification (birth certificate and passport).

None, will be fine.

USCIS reviews many applications each day.

I am sure they will understand None...............
