Well, after receiving "pending officer's final review" since Romani's approved interview one month ago, I got a "being issued for final review. Once this process is completed, he will receive his visa in 10 days". the question is, has anyone received that response before? And if so, how long did it take to get through this final processing stage? I still want to figure out if he is undergoing security checks. Called DOS, called the embassy, wrote to congressman and senator. Nothing yet unfortunately. thanks guys.

Listen you don't have to do all this.... Just wait and hope they issue the visa soon... but being stressed and calling here and there... contacting this and that... They won't issue the visa until they're finished with all the reviews and checks... so be patient...

The Next Step is Removing Conditions!
