good morning good people. this is my first time in this website. i just have an inquiry to everybody that has a dilemma like me, about the pending visa delivery due to inefficiency of our beloved government agency called NSO. i just want to know if the news i heard was true that the us embassy manila is no longer requiring DV from NSO beginning this October. meaning, those people that has been interviewed this october is no longer require to wait for the DV from NSO. i am just asking if this news is true. i hope this is true though.

It "seems" that the DV has been removed since October due to the backlogs. But I don't think that this is permanent given the track record of fraud here. But if you're going to be interviewed, misght as well pay the DV fee just to be sure.

I dont think that it was cancelled...it might be suspended for a little while though..until they have loosen up the backlogs...i was interviewed on Oct 21 and the dv was never mentioned nor my dv payment receipt ever asked and i dared not asked about it with the Consul...waiting for two days now for the visa...
