How many days do you all think i should give the embassy before i call them? The results are out for delivery and will definitely be delivered today. I dont' want to wait more than 4 or 5 business days to call but i don't want to irritate them and have them sit on our case. What do you all think?

Okay. It's delivered now. It's all on the embassy now. Hope they do not take too long.

I agree with you Mrs. Rowe. If you think that you would be irritating them if you call too soon, why not send them an email. I know that you need confirmation that the test result is in your file and not sitting on someone's desk and that the are deligently working on issuing your husband his visa.

Mrs. Rowe - don't call them. Email them at visageorge@state.gov As soon as I knew the package had left the NVC (when I filed the K1) I used to email them every thursday. They respond REALLY QUICK and it's way better than calling them. And it's your right to know what is going on. If they have information they will give it to you. I knew our interview date before Munesh got the letter. Just be polite and courteous in the emails. GO RIGHT AHEAD AND EMAIL THEM!!!!!!!!!

Well, before i read any of your responses, i called. I SHOULD NOT HAVE CALLED!. The same *&^%^& that i spoke to after Michael's interview told me that it is going to take "6 weeks or so" before we hear something back? What? I am pissed off. We hurried to get them the information that they wanted. How on earth can it take 6 weeks to simply look at a piece of paper? People have no heart. My daughter is 3 almost 4, growing up without her father. I hurried up and paid the 700 dollars it takes to get this stuff done and this is what we get? How unfair is that? Father have mercy on us. I miss my husband and i feel like this is never going to end. It breaks my heart. We have done things the right way. We have committed no fraud. WE have a real relationship but they put us through all this. Why us?

I really don't understand how things are done in Guyana. One would of thought that as soon as the DNA test is in there hands it would only be a matter of days before the visa is issued. Some folks just have the god complex and they use that to their advantage without giving consideration to whose life is being affected by what it being done. Prayers has the power to change everything and I know that god will open the window of heaven to speak into someone heart to work things out in your favour. Hold on be strong gods is right by your side.

That's exactly what it is Nikki - The God Complex. That's how they all are in the Embassy over there. That's why I told you not to call. At least reading the email won't upset you as much as hearing them tell you. That's a mind thing. And please please don't get all upset now - 6 weeks is nothing honey. Before you know it it will be here and over with. You've waited this long already - don't make them upset you and don't sweat 6 weeks! Not worth it at this point in the game. Form now on, you will do as I suggested and email them. I know I does get very upset just hearing one of them talk to me on the phone and tend to talk down to you like your a nobody. And of course then I does get on my high horse and think I've been in america for 29 years - who de #### is you to be talkin to me like that - and i'm the blastid american citizen! Anyway, I digress! Don't be so bummed - xoxoxoxoxoox

I have gotten to the point with the whole immigration system where i am just too tired to fight with them anymore. I don't have the energy. The whole system is broken and the people that work there don't care about us. God knows all i have gone through. We have survived this long. We can survive longer.

The system in Guyana is truly broken. The few bad apples has spoiled it for those of us with valid relationships. We are the one paying the price for it having said that I know that the good lord will carry you to the finish line. He is hearing all of our prayers and even though to some it may seem like a cliche GOD IS ALWAYS RIGHT ON TIME.

Oneka interview is this thursday. I pray that her interview goes off without a hitch, someone among us should have nothing but smooth sailing.

You are correct Nikki. I am dying to see one of us get out without a hitch. That will be one victory for us. I am going to write a letter about that embassy to ask for a review of their practices. Their treatment of citizens is outrageous. I just don't understand.

I am not leaving until all of you are done. Going to stay right through. We should all make a pact to stay put until all of us are done. :star:
