If there are no jobs anymore in the US (the way it is in the Philippines) wouldn't you want to move to another country that gives you a job offer? Pretty soon, if jobs become scarce here in the US you might be considering looking for a job in Saudi Arabia or Timbuktu.

That will never happen, because there are jobs here in the US that can't be done anywhere else, and as a life long US Govt. employee, I won't be going anywhere.

The overseas Filipinos are making the country better by remitting foreign currency. Most of us eventually retire in the Philippines after saving up some money.

I see, you come over here, sponge off of our economy, taking jobs away from other US citizens who actually plan on spending their whole life here, and then going back and living the high life as a retiree in a 3rd world country. Mayabang ka talaga!

Well Colombia also exports drugs. The Philippines doesn't have anything else to export.

In case you don't know, we also export a lot of pineapples and bananas. The Philippines is not called a banana republic for nothing.

We also export our doctors, nurses, physical therapists, computer programmers. Our brains are being drained dry by First World countries because your citizens are too lazy to go to school to get an education.

By the way, USA, UK, Europe thank you for exporting your financial crisis to the Philippines. Much appreciated.
