No, you're the one who got it wrong. I was responding to your comment that "aside from women the Philippines doesn't have anything else to export". I just pointed out that we export professionals too. Your comment about Filipino women offended me.

In America, "women" and "professionals" are not mutually exclusive groups. Are you saying they are in the Philippines?

You were the one who categorized all Filipino women as "products" to be exported and nothing I will say can probably change your bigoted view of us, so I just followed your drift. I decided it would be pointless to argue that point with you since you have already a fixed view of us.

So to answer your question. Yes, there are professional women and there are just plain women. They are the laundrywomen, market vendors, nannies, caregivers. Honorable jobs but yes just plain women doing their jobs quietly. How then do you call the other people in your country who are not male and not professionals? THAT ONE?

:blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink:

I'm with you on that one Charles...

Can countries REALLY export professionals?!!!

She meant they export professional women!!!

Hello Subic City and Angeles City!!!

Geez, some people here think they are so smart. That is what H1-B visas are for. If you don't know H1-B visas, use google. The US and other first world countries import or hire (if you don't like the word "import") professionals from poor, third world countries like India and the Philippines (which some people here hate so much and I don't understand why) to staff your hospitals and to run your computers.

You laugh about people from other counties when you don't even know a thing about our country and our culture. The Philippines export our labor force. We call them "OVERSEAS CONTRACT WORKERS" and they number in the millions all over the world. They are the reason why the Philippines is keeping afloat in this kind of economy. They pour billions of dollars to the Philippine economy.

And you seem to know a lot about Subic and Angeles, Roi Aggie. Tells me a lot about the kind of person you are. You mock Filipinas and yet... you were not a patron, I suppose?

And to the rest of you here that think all Filipinas are hookers, well, look again, they are everywhere. You probably have a neighbor or worse, a relative who is one but hey, I'm not here to judge. It's their life. If they wanna mess it up, it's all up to them.

May I ask once again. What have we Fililipinas done to deserve such hatred and mockery from some of you here?

Mawilson, you have replied to all of my comments except the question that I ask. Why do you hate Filipinas?

To the rest, please stop categorizing all Filipinas as hookers. It really is offensive.

Mawilson, you have replied to all of my comments except the question that I ask. Why do you hate Filipinas?

I will quote my good friend Matako:

The mail order bride business to Phillipines remains one of the worst national tragedies in recent years,

contributing to American women not being able to get partners due to these Fillipa women that no one

knows whether they were born male or female, given that sex changes are so cheap there.

Guess it goes back to the old saying... "be careful what you ask for"!!!

Though the first part about the mail order bride business is certainly on target... the second part about sex changes is a little below the belt (no pun intended!).

They can still export their women.

That is uncalled for and very much below the belt. Think before you let your mouth loose. I take offense.

Obviously NOT!! She just walked right into it, without even thinking, for an instant, that sarcasim was in the air!

I'm not dense. I just try to be objective in my posts without resorting to cheap shots (if I can help it).

Yet even then, she wants to revel in the fact that there is a financial crisis here in the US, and think for a moment, that the US could be considered a third world country, at the same level of the Philippines?!!! OMG!!! :o

I don't revel in the fact that there is a financial crisis. All of us are affected and I feel sorry for the guy with a family to feed who can't find work.

It always amazes me how people can be proud of a country where the major majority of their GNP comes from their people leaving their country in droves!!! How does that make that country so special?!!! If that country is so damn good, wouldn't people want to stay there and make it better?!!!

If there are no jobs anymore in the US (the way it is in the Philippines) wouldn't you want to move to another country that gives you a job offer? Pretty soon, if jobs become scarce here in the US you might be considering looking for a job in Saudi Arabia or Timbuktu.

The overseas Filipinos are making the country better by remitting foreign currency. Most of us eventually retire in the Philippines after saving up some money.

Mawilson, you have replied to all of my comments except the question that I ask. Why do you hate Filipinas?

I will quote my good friend Matako:

The mail order bride business to Phillipines remains one of the worst national tragedies in recent years,

contributing to American women not being able to get partners due to these Fillipa women that no one knows whether they were born male or female, given that sex changes are so cheap there.

Okay, now I understand. It's indeed tragic when American women are not able to get partners because of Filipinas.

By the way, tell your good friend Matako, the troll, that it's not Phillipines but Philippines, not Fillipa but Filipina.

Sometimes I get the feeling that you are the alter ego of Matako.

Okay, so much for this. I'm done with this thread. Gotta fix dinner for my American husband who thinks he's lucky he married a Filipina. If only he knew how much some people hate me. Oh well.
