Please be informed that the USCIS shows my card production ordered today. I was checking my status every day and was anxious for the last 10 months. I went 2 times for a stamp (I-551) in my passport and they refused telling me that no need to stamp when I have the extension letter. Now its time for relax and I wish good luck for everyone in this site for your immigration journey. No need to worry too much. It will happen, we all will be happy at the end of a long wait. See you in N-400 forum on January.

I was just wondering that most of the people approved recently say that they checked the website.

Didn't you receive approval email or they do not always send emails when you are approved.

I have checked the e-mail but did not get anything. I think it will take time for them to send an e-mail or they will not send. Same like you, I wonder why don't they send an e-mail since I have already registered.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

10/27/09 - Approved (approval emails received)

11/05/09 - Rec. both NOA2 in mail. called NVC get case # for mom's case and emails regd.

11/06/09 - called NVC get case # for dad's case and emails regd.

11/09/09 - Received my mom's DS3032 & ASO bill via email

11/10/09 - Paid ASO bill $70

11/12/09 - Received my dad's DS3032 & returned Completed DS3032 forms (By email)

11/12/09 - Send Completed paper DS3032 forms (From China)

11/16/09 - Received IV Bills (By email)

11/18/09 - Paid IV Bills ($400 each)

11/24/09 - I864 mailed via Priority mail

11/30/09 - I864 delivered to NVC

01/14/10 - DS230 mailed via Priority mail

01/19/10 - DS230 delivered to NVC

02/02/10 - Login failed

02/09/10 - forwarded to GUZ

04/26/10 - received interview letter scheduled for 06/17/10 in Guangzhou

Great question ... We did not receive an email. I was surprised since we did for the first Green Card. I even went through and checked all of my spam file today thinking the email may have somehow gone into the spam file...not sure why, but I'm glad I did not rely waiting for that email to come. :whistle:

Thanks for answering my question! :thumbs: It is good to know because I was relying on the website but now I will be checking it online..

Did your Approval update online or did you just get a letter mailed? I saw some people posing that they just got approval in the mail...which is not that reliable according to me... :unsure:

After such a long 10 month wait, you deserve it! It's good to know that the VSC is doing something, even if it takes a long long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for you, Lappa!
