I wish i know......

well, like you've said every case is different, and i also think the delay was caused by the national holiday when they had the whole week off. there's really nothing we can do other than waiting...........

Best wishes to you....

looks like you time waiting will be more with the Embassy then NVC, I would really think about going through NVC AS fast as you can! You wouldn't want to wait another year to finish the rest of your process would you Gogo!?!?!?

Think about it, you can go faster then 4 months, 1 month I seen the shortest and 3 months the longest to get case complete at NVC....We had to wait 1 month for case complete and then 2 months for our interview.....Total time from case approval to interview 6 months.... Good Luck!!

Hi gogo,

our case left NVC on 7/2 and was delivered to GUZ on 7/22, but the consulate didn't open the case till 8/29. and we just became eligible for an interview since last week but no date has been scheduled yet. i hope this information would help you to estimate the process time in GUZ.

Good luck!

Hi AppleBee:

NVC told me that my case left NVC to Guangzhou on 10/21. But I went to DHL website and could not find any shipment to Guangzhou between 10/17 and 10/27. How did you track yours? Once Guangzhou opened the case, how did you know when you would become eligible for an interview?

I really appreciate your help!

I had hard time tracking from DHL too, so i call DOS (202-663-1225 press #1 then #0) once a week to check on the status. then i started to call again after the 3rd week i mailed back our P3. i think that's the best way to track your case. Good luck
