it isn't as bad when it is your own race, as mud said, it's when it crosses over that it becomes clearly wrong.

I generally avoid calling any one or group "trash" especially on a public forum.

Perhaps to highlight this point, when I see it in the future, I will begin to use the same type of race/class attacks until we can all agree these group attacks are wrong and have no place in decent conversation (which I hope we can have here at VJ.)

I dunno man - you're in total control of the things you say. Plenty of people here don't go in for the broad-brush derogatory labelling. No need to take the low road just because others do.

In fact I think this is what causes a lot of the arguing here - when people feel they are being insulting by being indirectly implicated by those associations.
