osama may not accomplish as much as hitler did, but he is pushing us along the same path. his view of an ideal government is one which controls every moment of your life, from conception to interrment. his disrespect for the constitutional rights my family fought to give you and preserve for you over the last 250 years is apparent. osama does not believe in the first amendment, or the second. the rest are not far behind in his registry of contempt.

obama supported a bill introduced last year by a group of democrats that would have eliminated political discussion on the internet. this bill was advanced by pelosi and many other democrats in the house, and welcomed by obama and clinton in the senate. it would have made it a criminal offense to begin a political dialouge on the net without first registering with a governmental oversight body, paying a filing fee, and giving 30 days advance notice regarding the intent and nature of the communication. this bill was designed to remove pressure from representatives who are taking actions their constituents do not agree with. it would have prevented us from giving them pressure by preventing the dissemination of information in a timely manner, and through sources that are not controlled by the government.

what we are doing in this thread right now would be a criminal act, if the bill had been passed and signed into law. thankfully, bush warned that he would veto the bill, and enough hue and cry was raised by net bloggers regarding the unconstitutionality of such legislation that your candidate backed down. the first amendment specifically protects your right to publically complain about the actions of your governmental representatives and demand explanation from them.

obama's desire to gut the second amendment is well documented. he has also issued positions in contradiction to your fourth amendment protections. these constitutional protections are just inconveniences to him. if you place a man with such policy intentions in power, he may not take us all the way down the gaden path, but he will surely point us in that direction and increase the probability of such result.

Who has referred to Obama as the messiah, except for ring-wing shouting heads using it snidely? I'm certain he never referred to himself as the messiah.

Personally I feel very sorry for the OP, whatever education system they got their education through, it seriously failed them. Critical thinking? None. Seriously, read about political ideology, read about the ways dictators erode constitutional rights until the only thing you can do is fall in line or rot in jail. Read about this stuff, it's all in the library, it's all available.

Well like that Joe the Plumber garbage - this stuff likely has no appeal to anyone who hasn't already decided not to vote for Obama.

There's a few people I know know back in CA who have told me they categorically will not vote for Obama, and have explained their reasoning to me in the context of those flag-pin / hand-on heart / is he a muslim? episodes.

Its interesting, but ridiculous at the same time. All of those rumours have been derided - yet they persist because people who make pre-conceived decisions need some justification to the effect that their decision was anything BUT preconceived.

Cite? Anything? Cause I think this woulda made huge news but I can't recall ever hearing about it.
