Help! I have no idea what to do.

My hubby's name is spelled correctly on his green card. When we got the receipt letter for the Removal of Conditions application, they didn't have his full middle name, just his middle initial.

Now that we got the biometrics appointment letter, his middle name is misspelled. How do we fix this? Do we need to send a letter to the USCIS? Does he just tell them at his biometrics appointment?

Why don't they cross reference the name from the green card anyway? Don't they have computers?

No need to worry. It usually happens with USCIS. When you go for finger prints take your 2 year GC, DL and the appointment letter with you. They will give you a form to fill in and you can correct the name in the form as your GC shows. Just make sure your A# on Bio letter is maching with your old 2 year GC. The name problem you can bring to the attention of the guy who makes finger prints.

Thanks for sharing this information. I too have recently posted a similar matter. My husband's name is spelled correctly on all of his documentation except the letter for the Biometric Appointment. I was encouraged to do as you've mentioned, as well as make an Info Pass appointment. For the moment we will simply take our chances at the Biometric Appt. We have 1.5 hours drive for an Info Pass, so it's not that easy.

Thanks again!

ALL things work TOGETHER for GOOD!
