I have yet to get a visa but I am done with the CFO. Just need the sticker which I intend to get ASAP after getting our visas.

I went to PRISM for the seminar, not knowing that there may be some additional items needed like pictures of you and your fiancee. I had all our documents and the only thing I was asked for was a photocopies of my passport and birth certificate. After the seminar, you will be given a certificate of attendance which you must photocopy BEFORE you go to CFO and get another certification. There is no photocopier at CFO, unless you wish to take a 10-min pedicab ride into the heart of the shanties nearby.

Now, once you get the certificates, DO NOT lose them as they will be looked for at Immigration at NAIA, even if you have the sticker already.

I guess it would be a worthwhile way of spending the waiting period....

12-09-08 - INTERVIEW @ 6:30AM...God be with us! --- APPROVED!!!

12-11-08 - VISAS RECEIVED....YAHOOOOO!!!

04-07-09 - POE: Chicago O'hare

04-28-09 - received SSN's (after having to apply for them personally!!!!)

04-30-09 - Received our 2-year GREEN CARDS

01-07-09 - ROC, here we come!!!

01-18-11 - Mailed out I-751

In Manila:

You can have CFO at either PRISM or St Marys location.

We did CFO at St. Marys same day as US Embassy interview.

Then you can go back to location you did initial CFO, after you have rec'd your Visa and get your stamp

I attended the seminar at prism and after that, took a certification from the CFO even prior to my visa interview. Once you get your visa and before you leave, go back to the CFO to get your stamp on your passport. Without it, you will not be allowed to leave the country. You can get the stamp from the CFO in half day.

You are K1 so you go to CFO,only for marriede applicants has to go first to PRISM then to FCO for sticker.Go get your sticker at CFO,doing it at the airport can cause you delay, you dont want that to happen.

I am so glad I was not in the Philippines when we processed our visa. I never attended any seminar nor stamp prior to this.
