Please help!!! I did the change of address online. I am just worrying they gonna send out my 10 years GC before the process of change of address complete. what happened is my husband did the change of address for me like half year ago. I thought it was done. However i just know that we should get some kind of notification, but i've never get one. So i did it online again on 10/19/08. What should i do now? I am thinking about call USCIS and explain the situation.

Any advice

Thanks for the reply. Where i live doesn't have an local office. the nearest one if 2 hours away. The last thing i want to do it drive up there.

I made a phone call this morning, the lady on the phone said i need to wait 45 days after i filed the AR11, which i did online on 10/19/08. She said i should get some letter notify that the address being changed. I can call again if i didn't hear anything from them in 45 days.

another thing, I just notice that i have a misspelling name on my NOA1. It's really not easy to tell, unless you look at it over and over. I didn't dig for mistake on the letter, because name on my 2yr GC is right. I used that letter to renewed my DL, that's no problem. The DMV didn't even find out. However, i told her on the phone. She is like " you had that letter for about 10 months, now you just find out the misspelling name????" I know it's probobly my flaut. But i didn't meat to let it happened. Anyway, she said she changed the name for me. and i should get some notification letter within 45 days. If not i should call again. I just hate they do that. BTW, she asked my mailling address to send the notification letter, i told them. I just don't understand how come she can add my mailing address in the system for the notification letter, but can not update my mailing address for the I751.

I can only pray that the name and address will be updated before they send out the 10 yr GC.

Make an IFO appointment and they will correct your address in the system.
