Regarding Obama and Ayers. She said it's important for voters to question associations candidates have had in the past with certain people.

Regarding birth control. She said :Take My family as an example that IT IS important for us parents to talk to our kids about birth control, so stuff like what happened to my daughter doesn't happen with other families.

Regarding Latinos. She is not aware how many latinos, legal or illegal, live in Alaska.

Regarding Illegal Immigration. she thinks it's impossible to trap every single one of them, and it's an inhumane method, to trap them all and send them back. She's not in favor of an amnesty either, but she thinks they should wait in line after the people who entered legally and then apply to stay in the country (??? well, sounds like amnesty)

Do you think Illegals could become citizens? Yes, they do, She understands that they want here to get a better life, and get all the benefits and opportunities America can offer to them. But again, they should stick to the rules.

She thinks it's extremely important for the GOP to approach the latino vote, and work for it as hard as possible.

and then she said 'muchas gracias' in español.. of course.. mucho tipico!!

We definitely want a governor [as McCain's vice-presidential nominee], but slim pickings, though, in the governors. And I'm telling you, the Alaskan governor, Palin. I sat next to her at dinner--this was in July--I spoke at an event. KBYR, our great affiliate, was there. And just a great, great time. And she was delightful , and smart.

So, back to the Veepstakes. Sarah Palin: I like her. She's a beautiful woman, but she's also a conservative. Her husband, he's a fisherman. I'm not kidding you, and they go out and fish on the weekends. He's a commercial fisherman. I'm telling you, I think that sells. That sells a lot more than "my friends" and comprehensive immigration reform. And she's not for comprehensive reform, I can tell you that right now. She certainly has opinions and knows how to cut other candidates down, but really haven't heard any solutions. She reminds me of people that I have met that you cannot reason with, pretty much set in her ways. If we were both available and went out on a date, would be a short and the last one. Ha, if I was married to her, heaven forbid, would constantly tell her to shut up, her voice drives me crazy.
