I sense some people getting offended by this thread, let's see....

Yeah, I agree, ridiculously big age gaps are weird, I just don't think a 20 y/o can happen to be at the same page as a 40 y/o, I mean one is in the beginning of her/his life and the other has been through it all, I don't think one would be willing to skip the supposed best years of their lives or the other would be very eager to experience it all over again, of course there are a bunch of 40 y/o the dresses like teenagers and try to act like them, but they just act retarded and I wouldn't think someone would marry an weirdo like that just because love is great.

Why should the younger person be skipping anything just because he or she is married to an older person? They still have a life as an individual, still can hang out with friends their own age, still enjoy their own music and other interests. Unless the couple is joined at the hip and totally codependent, they're each going to have individual interests, some of which they share with one another and some not.

Right??? Also where is it written that an older person can't share the younger spouse's music, etc.?? Part of life as a couple is learning from each other. And for the record, I am barely over 40 and rather than 'been through it all', I've just barely started!!! You can have the old fogey attitude in your 20s or you can treat every day like it's your first even if you are in your 70s. People start new careers in their 50s and 60s, get degrees, fall in love, join the Peace Corps - my mom married for the 3rd time at age 55. I know people who climb mountains in their 60s. These ARE the best years of my life!!!!

And if the marriage doesn't work out because of the age difference... who cares?! It was their decision in the first place, not anyone else's. If they stay together because they want to (or because they have no choice), I don't care either. Live your life whichever way makes you happy.

When we were in our younger years (like Elementary or High School). Most of us girls are dreaming to marry our prince charming one day. Someone who is handsome, young and willing to fight for us. But as the years goes by, things are getting different.

We discovered a lot of things that made us realized that physical feature is not a basis to prove how much we should love other people.

Hmm, i'm just thinking here... Have you ever dream to marry or to love someone who is 10 years or 20 years older than you?

This is especially to the couples who has an age gap. Like for the woman is 25 yrs old and their man is 40 yrs old, something like that.

I met a lot of guys who is 10 years or 20 years older than me, but i dunno why i didn't choose to be with one of them. Even they offered me their acres of land and their mansion house in california, i never tried to like them. I'm not being rude here but i just want to make sure that if i will love someone, my heart should be pure and right wthout any wrong motive.. Am i right?
