THANK YOU EVERYONE...for your well wishes, and congratulations!!

I have spent the whole day crying...I was with my girls. It really hit home today, that our son and I might have had to leave my daughters! When I told Amber, she just cried, and said she was so afraid before but didn't want me to see it. Toree, was so happy for us, but at the same time I could see how much this hurts also! I am her mother, my job is to help her, and my joy today has brought her some pain.....that is a hard one!

This is not over for us....my immediate family or my VJ family! We will now fight, via an attorney to bring Rachid home to Toree...and as Simo and I take our next steps in this process...I will remain here with all of you who still have no news, and will support and encourage you as you have all done for me.

Rajaa....we need to talk re: the virtual support process!

Thank you again....I truly do not know what to say today.....this is such an incredibly unexpected blessing!! :yes:

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

We will be here for Toree as well. I don't think I have seen any posts on her situation, but start a new thread. There are several of us that have been through the denial process. We will be glad to assist you and your daughter through this.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

I-130 delivered : 6-12-06 - Appt in Cairo

I-130 Approved : 4-18-08 - USCIS approval!!

Visa Interview Date : 6-22-08

Case sent to WADC: 8-6-08 - FBI check

Email From Embassy 1-09 - Still in AP (7 months)

19 DHL scans - 2-19-09

1-26-09 - Out of AP, now final review

2-26-09 - Visa in hand!

3-11-09 - POE JFK - Got stuck there due to immigration taking too long. They didn't change his visa from CR1 to IR1, have to go to immigration here to fix it.

3-12-09 - Arrived in Portland!!

5-29-2010 - Zane was born ** Absolute best day of my life!

6-7-2010 - Ahmed went back to Egypt

8-23-11 - Filed for divorce

1-12-12 - Divorce final

Thank you yvette, Thank you so much......I hope we hear some good news soon, you know how it is...no one else can know how these days are for us in AP limbo........you die a thousand deaths and still wake up in the morning LOL..........I will call casa again tomorrow morning, and fax them also...and email them :devil: .....Oh I am so happy for you and hope your daughter hears good news also. My husband wanted my daughter to meet his younger brother but my daughter would eat him alive hahah she's a double handful for any man!!!!!
