I-134 affidavit and taxes

i know it has been asked a million times but i just want to be clear.

Do you need to supply the last 3 years tax returns in the Affidavit of support?

i have read it a million times all over the place but everyone has different answers.

You only need last year's tax returns. The form 1040 and W2s.

If you provide for the last 3 years than that's better but its not necessary

It never hurts to be over prepared but they only ask for tax information of the most recent year.
