Hello, I'm confused what to write about the question asking for date authorized stay expired, or will expired, as shown on Form I-94 or I-95. I'm canadian citizen, when I'm entered in the USA by plane, US border didn't give me form I-94. What should I write there? Is it OK to wite "180 days" from the date of my arrival? Help pls my fellow Canadians.

Also, my wife is my petitioner...there's a question asking about here "other names used"...Can I put her name when she was single before or I put "none"?

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

If you used a K-1 visa you should have an I-94 valid 90 days from entry.

If you do not have an I-94, you need to file an I-102 for one. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

Note, if you entered the USA as a visitor WITH the INTENT to immigrate, this is VISA fraud, you WILL get interviewed, and they will be questioning your intent on entry

A Maiden Name is "Other Names Used"

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

As far as I know, Canadian who wants to enter in the USA do not need I-94. So when I entered In the USA with no intention to migrate just only to visit my fiance but end up getting married. Well, I tried to convince my wife to move to canada with me so that we can live there together but the only probem is ..she doesn't like cold weather...I have no choice but to be with her....I left my ever dreamed job there in Canada even I only work there for 1 month after I was graduated from college. I asked our lab supervisor to have my vacation in the US so that I can visit my fiance. I did not even come back to my work because we've decided to live together. The only thing that I really wanted is to be with my wife...

Anyways, I called the USCIS, and they told me that USCIS officers were aware about Canadian who entered in the US as a visitor do not need a CBP form I-94.

We were advised to put N/A as we did not have I-94.

Also on the I-485, we left the 'stay expires on' box blank.

We had our interview on Friday and nothing was said about it.

This is totally incorrect info for a Canadian. You can't get a 'replacement" I-94 if you were never issued with one. Put N/A–Canadian citizen.

There is a thread about this exact thing just a few threads down on this same page of this forum—it is not even two days old. Make sure you do a search before you ask this stuff because there are tons of good information and answers already out there.

Yes, her Maiden name is another "name used".

I think I put a date six months after my entry as date of stay expiring. It is so vague for us Canadians!

JhunJhun PLEASE ignore most of what I just said. I tried to edit but I am too late! I didn't read your q properly and you never actually asked about not having I-94, just about date of stay. I'm sorry! I got caught up in the incorrect advice about the replacement I-94.

Since you already KNOW all that, have to agree with the other advice and either put N/A on date of stay expiring, or a date six mos later.

And yep, Maiden name=other names!
