I just made infopass. I have been waiting for EAD for over 90days.

Now, how was the infopass? I was suggested by several members here that I make infopass.

I tried to do service request, but the guy on the phone did not let me.

I know infopass cannot do anything for my EAD, but I just wanted to try and see if I can get something.

06/19/2008 POE at LAX with K1 visa

06/28/2008 Married my husband

07/03/2008 Update my social security card

07/19/2008 AOS, EAD, AP mailed to Chicago lock box

07/21/2008 AOS, EAD, AP were received

07/28/2008 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP

08/04/2008 Biometric appointment letter arrived

08/15/2008 Biometric at Santa Ana office

10/21/2008 No update since biometric- contacted a local congressman, the ombudsman

10/22/2008 Was able to do service request

10/23/2008 EAD was approved

10/24/2008 AOS interview letter arrived

11/26/2008 Renew my State ID

12/10/2008 AOS interview approved right away

Processing of either the I-485 or I-765 can take a minimum of 3 months, so you're right on time. At infopass you will have the chance to talk to an employee face to face instead of over the phone.

How do you know it won't do anything? Many people have gotten them to expedite it after an Infopass.

If you think it won't help, why are you wasting your time? :unsure:

Ask them to put in a "Service Request" . They don't hand out the interim EAD's anymore, however you can always ask the worst they will say is they don't do it anymore. But maybe by some miracle it will work. I plan on doing the same thing tomorrow at my appointment

OCTOBER 22 2008 (DAY 170)- I-765:Card Production Ordered/I-131: Approval notice sent

OCTOBER 27 2008 (Day 175)- AP Received

OCTOBER 30 2008 (Day 178)- EAD Approval Notice Sent OCTOBER 31 2008 (Day 179)- EAD Received

NOVEMBER 4 2008- Applied for SSN / NOVEMBER 24 2008- SSN Received

JANUARY 15 2009- INTERVIEW-APPROVED!!

JANUARY 31 2009- GC RECEIVED_No more USCIS for 10 Months[/color]

ROC

October 27- I-751 Sent

October 30- I-751 Received

April 10-10 YR GC Received

I sent e-mail to Ombudsman. It worked. They responded me so quickly. They said they will investigate my case immediately, so I should get something within a week.
