are the processing time tables wrong?

Could someone tell me if they know how the processing time tables on this website are generated? They don't seem to reflect the data given in the timelines.

For example, if you look here:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ge=k3historical

it says that I-129f (k3), noa1 to noa2 at vsc takes on average 70 days. Now, when I look at all k3/vsc timelines with recent I-129f noa2s, there are no cases where that time is anywhere near 70 days, and the average is closer to 200 days. Whether I look over the last week/month/3 months, I just can't see where they get 70 days from (or anything close to 70 days).

Thanks,

David

I posted the exact same comment a few days ago. The timelines seem to be disconnected from reality and yet they are supposed to be derived from actual member timelines. I don't get it - unless of course they accidentally swapped the VSC and CSC labels. The sad part is that I actually used these timelines as a guide for several months before I started reading the forums and realizing that the K3s weren't being processed anywhere as quickly as the timelines had led me to believe.

Yes, that is correct. Everything about USCIS is just WRONG. Don't trust what they tell you, cause you will be discouraged. They broke my heart many times, just to find out it was lies!

Good luck!

I think you're right, they got vsc and csc the wrong way round. I looked at some recent k3 timelines at csc, and they have taken about 70 days to get their NOA2. Shame. They really need to fix that!

I brought this up months ago. I sent an email to Ewok (the board operator). I'm 99% sure that the I-129F processing times are switched. VSC has CSCs data, and vise versa. Not sure if they will ever fix it, but I did bring it up.

Received GC 2009-04-01

Done for 3 years or 10 years. Haven't decided yet.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

I emailed the site administrator and he fixed the tables. Unfortunately for us Vermont filers, it makes depressing reading!
