Took a look at the Processing Timeframes for Vermont and it says this----- Service Center Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: August 31, 2008. When you look down at the K1 procesing dates it says 6 months. Can anyone tell me what this means?? What six months???

Thanks

Cindy

I just called and asked them that question. This means that the processing time from that date you filed to the date processed is 6 months.

I figure it means the same thing as before, it's now "OK" for you to call them and ask about the status of your case, where if you weren't outside of the processing time they'd just blow you off with call back when you are outside of the processing time.... now they have to blow you off with a different excuse than that. You can always call them and ask what it means, unless they are charging you by the minute I'd probably be in the habit of calling them pretty much every day (squeaky wheel!), you are so overdue it's ridiculous, your timeline estimated adjudication date is actually almost looking correct again... if you ignore the year column or missread it as I did just a second ago.

Hmm, my take on that is that its an improvement. Before it was a date (Februrary) and it hadnt moved since July. So you could technically be over 6 months and no be able to complain because we had an outdated page (updated in July), no if it is 6 months from your filing date you can complain much earlier and its not dependent on them updating that page. (which is good because its STILL outdated by a more then a month!)

Also, this means a number of people who were inside the processing times are now outside. Meaning anyone with a date before April 20, 2008. It also means whoever runs Igors can bump a number of people off the within processing times list.

remove 46 places on CSC Igors

remove 23 places on VSC Igors

just a lil reminder to all, if me and hubby have learned anythong when dealing with any part of this process is HAVE PATIENCE! NO AMOUNT OF WHINING, COMPLAING OR CRYING WILL EVER MAKE THE PEOPLE WORKING IN DHS MOVE ANY FASTER!!!!

as for the time lines, they are a rough estimite for processing times, just because it says 6 months don't mean squat. i gave u long ago at believing any estimate for time is even remotely close to accurate.
