12/06/2007: I-130 petition sent to Chicago Lockbox.

01/30/2008: Received NOA 1.

04/25/2008: I-130 APPROVED.

06/04/2008: Came to know about Visa Journey.com.

07/02/2008: CASE COMPLETED.

07/14/2008: Case transferred to Mumbai.

08/27/2008: Interview - Visa Approved

09/03/2008: POE-Chicago

09/04/2008: Applied for SSN

09/11/2008: Received SSN

10/27/2008: Received "Welcome Letter"

11/04/2008: USCIS mailed the approval notice

11/06/2008: Green Card Received !!!

It would be sometime beginning of November as everyone there wants him to celebrate Diwali with them. I wanted to make a trip to India as well but was unable to as I am so tied up at my job....It would be nice to spend Diwali in India which I have not had the experience of......

Oh Ya. I know that nostalgic feeling. It's been a long time time for me too. 17 years.

cmnb did you get any touches lately. I am so depressed. It's been 80 days since NOA1 and no touch.

And now CSC says 6 months. What the **** is going on.

r u sure ****=heck and not f**k?? lol

no touches...i am patiently waiting...ive stopped paying too much attention and am going with the flow...its going to happen at its its own pace...ill freak out starting the day i am outside the timeline or after 6 months..ive waited 145+ days so a few more wont make much of a difference. i am going to see wifey in feb so that keeps me going.

hopefully, the new processing is a good thing. good luck to you, i am sure your approval is just around the corner...CSC is just teasing you guys, they dont really mean to. trust me ur approval is not too far.
