My husband finally got his number today. He had gone down to the local immigration office on Friday to find out why he was not in the SAVE system and why the form had not been returned yet to the SSA office. They did something on the computer then told him to go back to SSA today. He went in this morning and walked out with his number. The card itself should arrive in a couple of days. Another indication that things only progress when you bug people. It has taken nearly 4 weeks, 4 visits to the SSA and one to immigration to finally get the number.

Naturalization:

6/28/09: Mail N-400 to Texas

7/6/09: NOA1

7/24/09: Biometrics

10/08/09: Interview

11/21/09: Receive oath date

01/22/10: Oath Date
