Gosh, that's a scary thought, but I agree with I think it was Almaty, who suggested that a run on her own would be viewed in the same light as that of Huckabee this time - a run to nowhere.

But Huckabee made sense.

Yeah, Huckabee, another man without a party base.

But he did have the gift of gab which is a lot more than you can say for the rest of the GOP running

I doubt he could have been entirely serious about that comment if Sarah "Mama Grizzly / Pit-Bull in Lipstick / You-Betcha!" Palin were the first name on the list...

Come on you guys have got to let go of the Palin Fixation.

You disqualify her for lack of Experience and Being not sharp enough, my point is You don't need either one of those to get elected.

Consider Bush, sure he had experience in an executive capacity (and performed pretty well)

But did anyone consider him "intelligent"?

Consider Barak, he seems intelligent but has almost no experience in any of the demands of the job of President.

Politics is the odd sort of event where events dictate who gets elected even more than a resume.

One need only capture a party-base and enough of the middle. In 4 or 8 years Sarah Palin will be much more Polished than she is now. (or her 15 minutes might be up).

She certainly will still be likable and depending on Baraks performance, anything is possible.

The most stunning thing is McCain never even had a Base and this this is still a contest (though growing weaker all the time).
