We have just sent an email to NVC requesting an expedite because of my daughters medical needs at this point. Does anyone know about how long it takes to get an answer on our request. And also what well happen if it is approved. My wife is the one in America... So she is the one getting things ready and sent. I just want to make sure that we dont miss anything and we stay ontop of our game. Thanks

I really don't know as there isn't much that can be sped up at NVC. It already goes about as fast as it can. Now getting a quick embassy interview would be important for you. I hope that things work out for you.

It took about 11 days to find out our case was expidited. Check out my sig below for further details. Its hard to say how fast the Embassy in Egypt will proccess your request. You also will need to fax your expidite request to the embassy with all your prof as to how your going to be effected. Good luck.

That was fast!

Got to love the fact my wife was preggy and even with a RFE @ NVC she was still here in under 5 months!

If you emailed it in you can call up NVC and ask to speak to a supervisor so that it can get immediate attention. Some emails will have to be exchanged between NVC and the consulate before your interview is booked.
