Well here goes my second round with the government. I am sending off my I 485 tomorrow and hope this will be painless. Even though writing the check for $1010 hurt.:)

I sent them pretty much the same info as i did with my I-129f, which i thought was pretty stupid. I did send a few different things like the vaccaniation supplement, and marriage certificate. I send the usual birth certificate, g-325a, copies of visa, and passport. i wasnt sure if i needed to send a copy of her ss# or not. wish me luck.

Congratulations on completing another step!

The only thing that really confused me was the vaccination thing. It is just really unclear whether you have to fill out the full medical form or not. I chose not to because our local civil surgeon wanted like $200 just to sign the form. Screw that. So I just figured I'd let it be an RFE. We're together now, so time is not such a big issue. So far, it hasn't turned into an RFE, and our case was transferred to CSC some time ago.

Good luck!

thanks. i think i included everything. Almost the same as my I-129. Included copy of ss card, copy of both our passports, her visa , approval notice, 6 photos for each form, birth certificate with translations, Vietnamese id with translations, vaccination supplement. i also put form g-325a with all 3 documents just in case, copy of the marriage license also. plus the governments nice $1010 check :). i can wait on the green card. i really need the EAD. my wife gets pretty bored at home sometimes and wants to work.

Congrats Rodney. We just received our EAD card Friday. It took about 2 months. I figure Thao will get her GC next month. Time to work on a driver license so she can get to work and drive me home if I had too many :dead: .

Good Luck!

06-29-09 received GC in mail

4-18-11 mailed I-751 CSC

CIS Office : California Service Center

NOA Date Received : 2011-06-06

Date on NOA: 2011-04-22

Bio. Appt. : 2011-06-24

Had to make an Info Pass appointment because there was a delay in receiving the NOA for our I-751. Never found out the reason for the delay but they gave Thao a 1 year green card stamp in her passport and we got a the NOA 2 days later.

Maybe I can help with the vaccination issue, there was a supplement to the vaccinations called I-693A this was only needed because all the vaccinations were supposed to be completed at the HCMC hospital. When we went to the CS, he gave us a completely new form, had it typed up and put in a sealed envelope for us. He just verified that my wifes' vaccinations were up to date. Now, I read that females under 28 need to have the HPV virus shot, but have not heard of any problems from not completeing that yet on this list.

Hope this helps..
