Things I'm reading here give the impression that some think that the rich will give up their privilege, ownership, and influence, either willingly or forcibly, under an Obama administration, and that the masses will attain a higher status and more control over finance and the means of production. Some expect a soft revolution. I find this to be very interesting.

What are your thoughts?

ROFL, I can't believe an adult would actually base their choice of candidate on something as relatively trivial as guns. Especially since it's not like the president can make a royal decree in January banning conceal-and-carry laws forever. And also especially considering their idea of what Obama wants to do about guns isn't really true. AND considering that up til now most gun-related laws have been on the state level.

But OooooK... if your little hobby is more important to you than, say, health care or jobs, than.... just...OK.

As to the original question....

Once Obama is elected, there will be street fairs and parades every weekend. There will be free ice cream and cake for all. Unicorns will sh!t rainbows and puppies and kitties will all be in loving homes. America will finally follow Europe's lead, rather than the opposite. We'll have 32 hour work weeks, a minimum wage of $10/hour+, health insurance for all, and the only homeless people we'll have will be that way by choice. In fact, Barry will give people $10,000 to spend a year as a wandering nomad if they so wish. Once Barry becomes President, all of the countries in the world will like us again. There will be no more war. There will be no more fighting over religion. And best of all... all of the rabidly conservative people will just disappear off of the face of the Earth.
