How about addressing Cindi in that remark instead of painting all supporters? I am a supporter, but I dont subscribe to the hope spin myself. Why is it so hard to remove the paintbrush from all who have different views?

Let me tell you what I want for America: the 1992 - 2000 curve where the middle class shared in the growth of the economy. What we need to put away with is the 2000 - 2008 debacle that McSame is looking to not only continue but to intensify. This is why he and all he stands for economically needs to be defeated. He is the way into the economic abyss.

We worked for everything we have, didn't get it by taking from others, and our faith requires that we give back.

Once again you make assumptions, there are a lot of people who work 2 to 3 jobs and still can't afford health insurance. I have worked hard, plus I also served in the military, but unlike you I have a conscience and truly care for people. My family is and always been into human rights, I was just really lucky to have family to help me get through school, and even with that help I am in debt from school. One of my friends just got out of law school and has so much debt from school loans, she actually regrets going to law school. That is sad. A big mis-conception is that poor people are there because they are lazy, nothing could be farther from the truth. If McCain was a regular working stiff, he would be long dead, he wouldn't have the insurance coverage to take care of those skin cancers he has. I bet his doctor doesn't have to wait for approval from the HMO's to give treatment, you think?

quite the opposite. look to the increase in violent crime in england and australia after the right to keep firearms in the home was stripped from the people. the statistics are widely available, and show a direct correlation between removal of firearms ownership rights and increase in victimisation. violent criminals can always find a weapon. their targets will be either victor or victim on basis of their situational awareness and available tools with which to respond.

but that's not the really good stuff. you didn't read my post, did you? gun ownership rights are a "bell-weather" issue. countries that remove self defense related rights from the populace inevitably descend into despotism if the surrounding circumstances are right. this chance was not something the founding fathers were willing to risk the future of America against.

Likely nothing will change drastically in the next 4 years, whoever wins. What I think we will see withdrawal from Iraq, if the downward trend in the economy continues it will likely be necessity (if it isn't already).
