Obama won't change any of that for the better. If you think that, you have another thing coming. He can't coz this country has no money, is in debt up to its eyeballs to countries that have little or no concept of democracy or equality, and is strangled by liberal econoncommunusts into neglecting our best resources.

I don't live my life or make decisions based on who will let me into their home, but more on the side of who wants to get into my wallet. I know more about racism than you ever will; I know it's not only not limited to the South, but also not to Whites. I won't become a ** to appease anyone or to fit in. I used to be one, but they are so left-wing now, they left me. It's been clear for years here that most of the liberals and Dimocrats represented hate religion and embrace perversity. Sorry, can't go there. It's Sodom and Gomorrah, if you get my drift.

VW was addressing my comment that put in there that George Carlin said about this country. So now I will address this first.

I am not rich, well educated, but not by any means rich. I am a poor intern, struggling like most of America. Each year, the U.S. Census Bureau counts the number of “poor†persons in the U.S. In 2005, the bureau found 37 million poor Americans. These 37 million Americans currently struggle with incredible poverty, understand that means that one in eight of us, and now I am sure that number has grown, do not have enough money for food, shelter and clothing they need and are forced to live in terrible circumstances. This in what is supposed to be the greatest country in the world. Also 47 million people are without health care, we are in hock to China up to our eyeballs. Among adults age 25 to 34, the U.S. is ninth among industrialized nations in the share of its population that has at least a high school degree; we used to be number one. Our health care system is ranked at #37 by the WHO, we stand 45th in life expectancy, and our quality of life ranking is 13th. We are a freaking joke; we are losing our status as a first-world country. The U.S. was at the top of the list for gun deaths, while Japan, who has strict gun control, had the least. I work with the very poor in a public hospital, I am on the frontlines of the fight on poverty, and millions of children go to bed hungry every night in this wonderful country. Why would you not want to make America number one on all these issues, so you can hang on to a few dollars, screw the people who starve. Even now the charities are drying up, there is no money, and most people without health care come to physicians way too late most times, and end up passing away for things if caught early in prevention care, would be taken care of easily, instead they come in and need over the top treatments that cost you and I millions. If you think the far right wing is on your side VW, than come down here to republicans land I will introduce you to some far right people, and by the way they don’t like anyone who isn’t white and Christian. Wake up, those people don’t care about you, you don’t fit their profile, maybe as a token, but in reality most of the very rich white republicans wouldn’t even let you in their home. Sorry to burst your bubble, but racism is alive and well and kicking.

I hear ya brnidokiegurl, is some of these people saw what I do on a daily basis it would open their eyes to the REAL WORLD. I for one can't stop thinking of the millions of children who go to bed every night in what is suppose to be the greatest country in the world, hungry. You would think for such a big Christian country there would be no poor.

I am non-white and I don't think I need saving at all.

But I do recognize that there are others, who we share this country with, who's fates are inextricably tied to my own, who do need help.

My Obama 08 vote is primarily for them.

That's where VW gets all messed up, she believes, possibly sincerely, that the only people who would vote for Obama are disadvantaged in some way. Some people really care about the fate of others, either because selfishly they realize that the fate of other materially affects their own fate, or because, oddly, they just care whether others have a decent life or not.

Probably the real reason that Warren Buffet has endorsed Barack Obama is because he really is a liberal econoncommunist who wants to strangle the nation.
