You are not alone, in fact we filed our petition ahead of you and still not approve not even update or touches. It hurts that other couple got approve already while they file later than us, sooo unfair. Well, cant do anything about it except to just wait and expect the worst. Good luck to us.

Hi, guys! I'm an April filler (I'm going with CR1 instead of K3, and I'm at NVC right now). This is SO unfair... I just wanted to wish you all GOOD LUCK, it's terrible to be without our spouses, but soon we'll be together and happy.

Don't know what to tell ya, I've seen a little bit of encouraging info on other threads of a few who were a couple of weeks before us who just got their good news (approvals), but my most recent call to VSC this morning resulted in the 3rd different story I've received from them in the last week - and it was the most pessimistic I've heard yet. This morning, the person up there said probably 30 - 45 more days, based on where I was at in the process (which is very close to you).

Not sure what to think, other than to say this - at least if nothing is done by 11/4, I can finally request an inquiry (at 7 mos.). Not that there is any assurance that will do anything to speed up the process.

Filed I-130 and I-129F end March, first week of April. No hits since June. Anyone else same boat as me? When I search similar timelines I find several through VSC already got their NOA2 long ago... I am beginning to feel like we have been passed by. I need some company from others around my time of submitting, to stay encouraged I guess. Please let me know so that I dont feel so alone.... Thanks.

i just called again about an hour ago, (as i did on Monday, 10/21/2008). i spoke to an agent who seemed helpful enough. i was told the same thing as Monday. specifically:

they are currently processing I-130, NOA1 = Feb 26, 2008

they are currently processing I-129F, NOA1 = March 4, 2008 (outside 6 month window shown on website)

Hmmm... since that was what i was told Monday, i can't help but to scratch my head. nevertheless, based on other users comments on this discussion and in my own case, it's works out and it concurs with my "Pending" status currently. she told me that i should have a decision on my I-130 by end of this week, early next week at the latest and that a decision on the I-129F should be made by the end of next week. i will check back again on Friday, 10/22/2008 and early next week and will let everyone know of any changes.. or dare i say it - Approvals !!!

My timeline:

I-130 NOA1 = Feb 27, 2008

I-129F NOA1 = March 10, 2008

Ya, I agree with your observations. It seems more and more based on the trends of feedback I am seeing, what you just reported reflects at least the most reasonable estimate of reality I've seen/heard up to this point. Thanks for the info.

Today is 6 months for me so I am calling my lawyer and seeing if they can find anything out now.

I'll let you all know if I find out anything.

Can't we just have our sweetie's fly over our house and sky dive down into our arms?

I'm starting to see why so many people choose to do this illegally.

What a Pain in the A$$ !!!!

Prayers for all of us,

Wendy

You might tell your husband to wait until Wed. Tomorrow is federal holiday (Veterans Day), which means no one up there will be working.

Of course, that assumes any of us actually believe they are working any of the other days, either.

LOL. you're right on that. everyday seems like a holiday for them. they're processing our petitions at their own pace...that's walking though the beach at sunset
