I hope you hear something soon. Sorry they haven't finished your case yet. I got my RFE letter in the mail Saturday. They say I must provide a police clearance from the Jordanian General Intelligence Directorate. I had not read this anywhere so I told my husband to go down to the police station, but apparently the police clearance wasn't good enough, ugh! I pointed out my husband has not even lived in Jordan for a year yet, but they don't seem to care. I sent my husband down there to try and get the certificate, but they said he does not have residency so they cannot give him the certificate. This is so frustrating. I have no way to fix this RFE. I once again called NVC and told them the problem and now I am waiting for the supervisor to review the case again. I am praying they just approve it understanding it is impossible to get this certificate.

Jen you got an awesome deall... unfortunatly you will lose that if you change your plan... unlimited texting for one line is $14.99 a month i know i do way more the 500 so if that seems better for you. You might have to suck it up and say goodbye to the sweet deal you have. I am ok answering these types of questions any ol'time and NO babe unless I am almost 6 months along i am not preggos... I wish one day what a freaky surprise that would be. Like those women who go to the hosptial with terrible pain and have a baby when they never knew they were expecting. Never knew that was possible and i've had 4 kids hehe

soooo how are you feeling?

I hope it happens soon i can't stand this. My sweet husband is now shopping for an appartment in Spain he is getting ready for me to go there to live now.

:wow: that's terrible... i am soooo sorry. I hope they pull their head out of their ..... well you know? keep us up to date. So he will have to be there a year to get his certificate or will he have to wait to be a residant then get the certificate??? even still how long is that going to be?

I hope it gets worked out somehow too, lol. He can't get residency as it is nearly impossible to get one as Iraqi these days. He was lucky to get the initial residency for three months but that expired in March. We are trying to work out something else is all else fails.

I saw you haven't got word on your case being complete. This is really taking too long for you. Inshallah they will give you good news this week so you can move along in your case. Hopefully your husband will not need to work on settling you in Spain as I know that would be difficult for you.

yeah... I dont know what's happening.. who knows. When i spoke to Dee the operator she said it might be slowing down some cause of the change of consulates. I am not certain why that would be but Nita stated the same possibility is it they're just confused where to send it and dont approve it until they are ready to make an interview date???

I just read all of this and now I am so worried. They just entered our DS 230 and I looked at our question 20 and it says 10-1977 to 10-2008. I am such an idiot. I didn't even think to put present. I am so mad at myself. Do you think I am going to get an RFE now. Should I just resend it in now or wait for an RFE?

I was hoping to hear a case complete with you on Friday because I know that's what is going to happen for you!!! I am saying a prayer for you right now.

I would wait because the officer might not even notice it

BUT I would call and ask the status of your case every couple of days just incase

an airport visa???? never heard of that... but Nita you're sooooo close i am happy for you!!!

ok Shrewdgal emailed and called both senators one of which already has my signed waiver cause it took so long for the approval of change of consulates and everything was on hold until they approved that for 20 days.... yeah to move consulates 20 days??? isn't that like just someone else's desk or soemthing??? also it took 3 weeks for them to get our case from Uscis to nvc so 41 days of nothing then top this "final review" stuff on it.... this down time is horrible..

I hope just one of the aids calls for me... and it gets done once and for all!!!

Dont worry, I think you will get it on Friday!! At least they did change of Embassy now, cause if you had waited when it was at your first Embassy and switch it, that would have taken up to 6 months for that transfer... So Rajaa you are still in good timing!! patience hehe I know it's hard to keep waiting... But you are almost there!!!

Yes airport visa and they requested a bank account in Lebanon, can you believe and my husband told them he is moving to United States that it didn't make sense... Crazy

Hang in there girl (F)

 That's what I said they are smoking crack!!! I did send an email to the embassy of that country  and they told me he does need a visa, but didn't tell me anything about any bank account.. But you know what, I told my husband to take both his statement for Lebanon bank and for US bank, since we have joint bank account!!! So dumb airport visa!! And get this, it's about $80

aaaggghhh Always something!!!
