I've received 3 letters that are identical - dated 10/08/2008, 10/09/2008, and 10/10/2008 ....

they just state that they've received our case, and within a week from the issue date it will be forwarded on - the problem is as of today, it's still at the NVC...we're going on 2.5 weeks now, while others seem to be blowing through, and none of them can explain the letters, or why it's taking so long...

I got 3 letters too! They send us more letters because NVC (L) loves us (L). Come on, we pay them 470 bucks, we deserve more than one letter :P !

Good luck, start collecting ALL the stuff you have to send.

I received two letters too from NVC. the same letter except one mentions my K3 will be forwarded to the consulate, the other one states that my K1 will be forwarded. So it's not the same letter, there is a some confusion about the case type. I filed for K3 and not K1. I don't know how this mistake did happen! I will call on Monday morning, just making sure no errors build on this in the future. Has this happened to anyone else? two K3/K1 letters?

  • I-130 SENT 2-19
  • NOA1 RECEIVED 3-03
  • I-129F SENT 3-14
  • NOA1 RECEIVED 3-21
  • NOA2 RECEIVED 10-11
  • NVC CASE COMPLETE 11-21
