Happy Caturday and Happy Sweetest Day!

i get to spend sweetest day driving my kids around today to their functions. At least i dont have to be a work today! Maybe i can squeeze in a movie today during my "taxi runs", does anybody have a good recommendation for a good movie to see?

Morning all! What an exciting afternoon/early evening it was here last night. We came home to see a few police out across the street. And by the time it was all said and done, there were 8 officers. The people accross from me have been apparently (I knew this) selling drugs. They sit outside no matter what the weather, rain, cold, hot. And i had a feeling that was happening. They would sit in front and then move to the back, people were in and out of there all hours of the day or night. My neighbor finally had enough and called the police department and the alderman. They arrested all the guys that were living there/ They also think they may have found the computers that were being stolen from a few of the schools around here! Exciting Hey?

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Another cold one here! I think I will take time today to go for a drive and see all the trees whith their leaves changing before all the leaves are replaced by snow :wacko:

11 days and counting until the interview...I am wondering if we will ever sleep well again.

Nagi, I LOVE POWWOWS!! Have been to many and can't wait to take Wael to one.

Enjoy yourself and hope hubbie will go with you!!

We saw the movie "The Visitor". It was good, just sad. I recommend it. Changed one

man for the better.

Happy Saturday MENA! I'm so excited on Monday I get the keys to a nice house I found to rent. I am so tired of this small apartment and I'm looking forward to all the extra space. I showed my husband the pictures of the house and he likes it too. He is just nervous that there are woods behind the house and that someone could "hide" there and sneak into the house. I keep telling him he watches too many scarey movies, lol.

Arrived in the US: December 10th, 2008
