Agreed. Mods do remove threads like these when they are obvious, but I don't test each member's links to photos posted on external sites.

If people are directing remarks on that site that are inciting issues on VJ then that is not acceptable. That is a separate site however it is unacceptable for people to try to use it as a staging area to create problems here. Please PM the admin there and/or PM me with details and I will certainly try to help. Good humor is one thing but if there is vindictive or otherwise similar activity trying to hurt the feelings of people then please feel free to again PM me.

The whole "They're conspiring and plotting!!11" thing is just a poor attempt at controlling you Cap'n. People on Expats, rightfully, vent their frustrations about members on VJ since we are unable to do so here without getting suspended. When you have people on THIS site who bait, intentionally annoy, and declare superiority BUT do so just short of violating TOS - and have done so for years - people NEED to be able to vent about it. None of these instigators will register at Expats because they can and will only "work" within the safe cocoon of the VJ TOS. In other words, they will drive people to the breaking point and then run to you crying abuse and TOS violation. You know the #1 guilty party of that. Since Expats came about, there has been very little about this person on VJ. People have been able to vent and then come back to VJ and post without responding.

I know you don't have a lot of time, and that you don't read much on VJ. However, if you have the time at some point, read the postings of some people - specifically the one(s) who have reported the "horrific conditions" at Expats recently. If you do so, you will see a systematic attempt at belittling and agitating as many people as possible. They only complain about Expats because they are afraid to join there. Without the safety of the TOS for them to hide within, their true nature of cowardice will be seen by all. These people crave power, and at Expats they have none. They are attempting to gain that power over Expats now by reporting to you things that either DO NOT EXIST, or are not against the TOS of Expats.

There has been NO "conspiring" at Expats. People vent. If other people then go to those topics on VJ and post their feelings as well, can that really be considered "conspiracy"? They were not compelled. No one has posted saying "Go tell XXX what a XXX he is!" What these people are trying to do is directly against what you wanted for Expats - a place where people felt free to say what they wanted, and with little to no moderation. Stifling the ability of Expats members to vent about the crappy treatment we receive from some members here is the beginning of a full TOS for Expats, and a death sentence for the "Free Exchange of Ideas" that you want.

You can't be serious. How can you rationally deny that there has been no conspiring about and acting on getting back at people on VJ at Expats? It must be demonstrable or you're calling Mike a tool and a fool for telling you guys to it cut out. He wouldn't have done so unless he believes it's a legitimate issue. Whine and boo hoo about whomever you want over there all day, if that's what you use the site for. Just don't bring your gangbanging over here.

I'm no coward. I openly admit to having informed Ewok about the plotting on Expats. I have no idea if I was the only one or one of many, but I may be the only one to tell you straight up. It's his choice whether to believe the report or not. Reporting plotting gave me no control over others, nor did it take any power from the admin(s). Ewok can't be everywhere; that's why he allows us to provide evidence of possible offenses. I was only doing as he advises. If you don't because you believe that reporting is cowardly, then that's also your choice. Accept that Mike acted as he saw fit under the circumstances. Accept also that as long as one of the main topics on Expats is who you dislike on VJ, then the possibility of being corrected exists.

As for speculation about who is or isn't on Expats and why, members there can use screen names other than those used here, so you actually have no idea who's not registered at Expats, so speculation about their presense, lack of it or motivations either way is baseless. My advice, remember VJ and Expats are message boards where opinions expressed by the wide variety of personalities have no bearing on your real life unless you let them.

also the main topics on expats is not on who we dislike on VJ... yes, that does go on there but it really isn't the majority of what goes on there.....
