I'm on apple pie duty for thanksgiving. SERIOUSLY!!!! I've never baked an apple pie in my life but my mother in law told me about 3 weeks ago it's been designated to me by the family.

That book sounds hilarious, on a sadder note, I was watching the TV with C the other day and there was an ad for those 'snack' fast food items like the McD's dollar menu etc. C says, 'you know why they are expanding those lines and really pushing them, it's because for some people it's all they can afford, it's their dinner'. Things are getting bad, and a lack of education not only affects peoples jobs, but nutrition too. So sad.

stupider thing is that if people just actually took a trip to the grocery store they'd figure out they can buy groceries cheaper than buying all their meals off the dollar menu

Well our Thanksgiving looks like it is going to be a sorry state of affairs pretty much like Christmas... Jeremy's family aren't coming down after all so it's going to be a lonely holiday season for us
