i'm so confused. my partner has w2's from 2005 and 2007, and tax transcripts for 2006. does he need the w2 for 2006 or are the tax transcripts enough?

tax transcripts can stand alone and replace the need for any other tax documents for that particular year

For 2005 & 2007 I hope has has provided more than just the w-2's because the w-2's typically do not stand alone.

just to check, is this for aos or do i need it for the interview at the embassy too?

sorry for all the questions, i'm so confused ;)

each consulate is different so you need to check it out for London specifically, but the answer is typically same...

YMMV

Have your fiance oder tax transcripts for theother 2 years. They are free and the embassy accepts them without question. You will need to present them with the complete I-134 at the US embassy in London at the time of your interview.

When my hubs went they asked for the prior 3 years, but some reports out of London say they only want the most recent tax year.
