Hi everyone! just wanna share with you my medical experienced @ SLEC with my child since wednesday Oct.15 - 17, 2008

Oct.15

First day of our medical. we arrived here in manila from bacolod via cebu Pacific @ 7:40am. at around 9am we dropped our luggage here at Cherry Blossoms Hotel & went to SLEC. we started the medical @ 10am & end at exactly 6:30pm. they don't have lunch break so we never had lunch also. i have biscuits, candies & water for my son which i hide inside his backpack. he brought along with him his PSP so he never get bored (maski papaano)...i was surprised when we enter the bldg.ang daming tao! aound lunch time, medyo maluwag na since ang iba had their lunch.we got out at 3pm to buy some food at the nearest Mini Stop & got back to SLEC.Everything was finished on the first day, my xray, son's Tuberculine Test, & Physical Exam...I was told to come back along with my son fri. Oct.17 to have my xray result, vaccination & reading of my son's skin test.

Oct.16

Second day. Our rest day. we just stay at the hotel the wholeday, just went down to have lunch & dinner @ Robinson's Ermita just beside Cherry Blossoms. I was always checking my son's skin test. i was really scared & napa-praning as always...i was very sure enough that he will be ask to have an xray boz he had a reaction to the PPD.

Oct.17

Third day. Supposedly our last day, but as expected my son was told to have an xray. i proceeded to my immunization (which until now is still aching, medyo mabigat pakiramdam nang both arms ko). i finished my medical this afternoon & we have to go back on monday for my son's xray result. The doctor who reads my son's skin test even told me to ask at the xray room if i could get my son's xray reslut in the afternoon so he can finished his medical with me, bcoz according to her, his xray will be negative rin naman since i was negative too. but when i ask the xray technician, d daw pwede kasi pina-prioritize nila ang malapit na interview, like for example next day na ang interview.

So far, the medical was all smooth from start to finish...i never had a rude experience like the others here once had. from the guards, nurses & doctors...puro lahat mababait...i even talked to one of the guard and a nurse whi are ilonggos too...i just hope & pray that my son's xray will be fine (negative result) so we could both proceed to our interview on the 23rd of October.

i'm glad your medical went just fine marnel..just relax and be ready for the big day! hmm, maybe you can go to manla ocean park with your son, it can be educational for him..and you know, just so you can pass the time..
