Any October Filers Out There?

YEAH!!! it was approved the I-130...i'm at work and so i went to lunch when i came back the email from USCIS was there under the label NOA2 in Gmail. Keep the hope and stay postive my friends. Good luck to everybody and i hope all of you get approval soon.

Congrats! Wow, this waiting is killing me! My fingers are crossed for an approval really soon!

Another touch over here. 2 days touched in a row...this is killing me i don't know what to expect.

I am October filer...waiting for almost 4 month, no transfer to CA, no touches, no nothing....

Is there anyone out there that has figured out how this USCIS VSC vs CSC, and the transferred CSC vs. originally at CSC thing is working? I really have a hard time understanding why people that received NOA1 in October / November that were transferred over from VSC are getting approvals at CSC in January / February. Meanwhile there are people that have been at CSC with NOA1 from July, August, September, October and November that sit waiting for a touch.

It does not affect me (yet) because I am a late November/early December CR-1/K-3 filer) but if I were the others I would be confused and very sad

I was happy when I was assigned to CSC originally, but now it seems to be a big disadvantage.

Has anyone tried to get an answer on this from CSC?

Don't try to find any logic in their work flow because there is none. The more you think about it the madder you are going to get. It will all end soon.

youre CR1 also? we're also waiting for the NOA2.. we filed Nov 3 2008... CSC...

Congratulations my friend....we are in the same boat. Yesterday my wife called NVC but they don't have or package yet and the operator was very rude to her saying "do not bother trying to call us again, we will contact you once we have it"

Anyway we got the hard copy of the NOA2 on Monday so we will wait a few days to call again NVC.

I'm still waiting... Realistically, I don't expect to hear anything until May or June.

Keep your mind positive, you'll get approval soon. If you stay positive will make your life/waiting less miserable and try to not think too much or check everyday USCIS. That way when don't even expect it you'll get the approval, is like watching a clock passing time it's boring, desperating and depressing, try to distract your self enjoy your present. Just and advice, good luck!

Still waiting here though, filed the I-130 ~20th Oct to CSC. Like emo4krisi says...don't try to find logic in their work flow, it doesnt really make a lot of sense.

Here's the update on my stuff. My case was approved in January. I had emailed the DS3032 and it was approved. Since i'm visiting my hubby in Iran now, I had to send all the signed documents with someone going back to the states so they could give it to my parents. So the I864 should be sent out soon... (in the next couple of days). In these next couple days I'll also be paying the IV bill online and sending my translated DS230 documents over to my parents so they can send them to NVC. I'm a bit stressed because while it does say that police records and military records are unavailable for Iran, I know they are (maybe they're just available and unacceptable?). I had a friend that said having the police record really helped clear them faster when it came time for the interview and actually getting their visa without AP. But it takes 2 weeks or so, and I don't want to waste that time. I dunno what to do, what do you guys think?

You're not alone in your wait here. Our NOA1 for our I-130 is October 28 and we are still waiting as well. I see lots and lots of October and November filers getting approved and even some December ones. It's getting depressing!

maybe I'll just tell him to get one, and take it with him to the interview... and I'll specify that in the table of contents with the other things I send. It's better to be safe than sorry no?
