a sunday dress will do. when i had my inerview, most of the women i saw at the embassy were wearing skirts and closed-end shoes. try to avoid wearing jeans and flip-slops or sandals. good luck.

You have to look your best so that the moment the CO looks at you.... he/she'll approve it automatically and not have to ask any questions Lol. I dont know if that ever happened before but we can dream, cant we?

Kidding aside, when you step in the USEM. You will be measured and scrutinized (im not sure if thats the right word) from head to toe. The cliche "Dont judge the book by its cover" doesnt apply here. They will judge you with what you wear, how you talk or answer questions, how you carry yourself or how you present yourself, with what documents you brought with you and with any other trivial things they can think of. :)

I agree.. be confident and dress up accordingly. I only have one question from the CO girl and take note he appreciated my attire..I just wore a simple skirt and a long sleeve. Carry mo yan girl! :)

Hindi ah! :P

Seriously, being overdressed and over-made up complete with all that bling will also give a negative impression to the CO. Just a little of everything is enough. Decent posture during the interview is also helpful.
