The true sheep will ignore any polls that are showing a close race and focus soley on the ones that show Obaaaaaama with a significant lead. No need to worry.

Spooky, get your hopes up all you want. Fact is that Obama will win on 4 November and that it will be a comfortable win: 300+. Now, you can push that fact into the background and drool over Drudges nonsense. November 5 will come and your - and Drudge's - bubble will pop. But do enjoy the time between now and then.

Big Dog,

Don't fixate on the fact that the screenshot is from Drudge.

The poll is Gallup. Drudge has nothing to do with it.

The likely voter model that yielded this result assumes turnout along the lines of previous elections. In other words, this could be the outcome if complacency holds, people like you start believing Obama will win, tell other people, causing some of the extra turnout needed to win.. to not materialize.

Obama will lose if the hype doesn't break.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

And the # VJ sheep for the win.:lol: And I have never once posted that I support McCain.

Obama will lose if the hype doesn't break.

Shouldn't it actually be that Obama will lose if the hype DOES break?

The hype over him having this in the bag - if that hype doesn't break, Gallup's second likely voter turnout model may just come true.

His candidacy isn't hype. That's real. With 19 days left, it's time to get over that you nutty PUMA.

I know his actual candidacy isn't hype, but I think that is what the media has made it for quite a while now. He was the media's favorite through the primaries and still is. The media also created the hype of having it in the bag. I doubt that Obama himself thinks it's a slam dunk. He's a smart man and knows anyting can happen.

Look, I read the page. I just don't think that "traditional" models will accurately predict the outcome of this election. Nothing is traditional in this race and the results on election day will be decisive. Yes, Obama needs to keep the enthusiasm with his voters high. He's doing that.

Joe the Plumber is already starting to backfire on McSame. Give that a few more days. Not that it ain't clear by now but but it will become clearer.

I agree that Joe the Plumber was probably McCain's nadir, but I do hate the 'Obama will win' crowing too. Nothing is certain, the American public seem unprepared to ask the pertinant questions, they seem to rally to these ridiculous cries of 'tax and spend' like a religious mantra. I don't get it quite honestly.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

The Dems have a long history of Tax and spend.

The Reps are making their history of showing spend and less tax.

Ok. What the Bush tax cuts didn't happen? The increase in size of the Government was not spending? The huge deficits are a mirage?
