The "traditional" likely voter model, which Gallup has employed for past elections, factors in prior voting behavior as well as current voting intention. This has generally shown a closer contest, reflecting the fact that Republicans have typically been more likely to vote than Democrats in previous elections. I did. Drudge is still dreaming. There are dozens of polls out there showing a different picture. Drudge used to quote Zogby when they showed the race closer than anyone else. Today when Zogby has Obama gaining ground, he switches to Gallup which - in one model - shows the race narrowing. That's hacking, my friend. And it's not newsworthy just for "breaking on Drudge". Fudge that #######.
