Hi Everyone,

Good luck to everyone on your immigration journey during the I-751 immigration process! Hope that everyone gets approved quickly too for their 10yr green card (especially those at the VSC who are waiting for a very long time).

Anyways, this is a bit off topic here, but because I'm usually here on this I-751 forum often, that I should let you all know that I'm taking a "VJ vacation" for awhile. No, I'm not talking about lounging in a beach chair, or anything like that. Rather, I need to be offline for awhile, since my Mother-In-Law recently had a stroke this week and was in the hospital. So I cannot tie up the phone line by being on the internet (I have dial-up), in case of an emergency and of any other medical updates, which needs to be attended to first.

Hence, I won't be on VJ much for the next little while, even though I want to try and help everyone as much as I can here still with their immigration situations. However, you can still check my previous posts and topics (the links can be found on my member profile), if you need any help finding the answers to any questions/concerns I have answered before too.

Nevertheless, I'll still check on the "VSC Status List" from time to time, and offer "congratulations" to those who have been approved, whatever little time that I get on the internet...

I hope you all understand about my serious family situation. Thanks everyone, for being so helpful and friendly here on VJ too. Good luck, everyone, on your immigration journey, too!

Hello Ant,

Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. Don't worry! She'll recover very soon! :)

And thanks for 'listening' to my own story about my father-in-law, who is also sick now... I am so glad that I found this forum, and that I can share with you all about everything, not only my immigration.

Good luck to all of us who has been going through the journey and trying hard to adapt to our new lives in the US! :)

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your replies and your well wishes towards my MIL, my husband, and I. Right now, things have gotten worse as she was hospitalized last week, then released, now this week she’s hospitalized again. We’re all trying to see what the next step it is for her, in terms of her living situation and everything else, which to tell you the truth, nobody knows, as the hospital is not a long term solution. Sigh, we’re all just stressed and frustrated and don’t know what to do anymore….

Sorry, I had to vent there….Hope you all understand….

In the meantime, again, whatever little time I have on the internet, I’ll still check up on things here on VJ from time to time, as I would still like to keep up to date on things here immigration-wise. And especially so in regards to the I-751s at the VSC, as I’m waiting there too (lol…another stress to deal with…blah…)…

Good luck everyone, on your immigration journeys too! Hope you all have speedy approvals!

Ant (Still waiting at the VSC…)
